ANZ Sailing Fun Day & South Pacific Hobie Youth Challenge

The ANZ Sailing Fun Day hosted by the Fiji Hobie Class Racing Association ("Fleet 252") at the Suva Foreshore on 24th July was a resounding success as 6 local youth teams competed against 3 youth teams from Wallis in the harbour while a market day was held onshore for onlookers. 

Fiji Hobie developed the Fun Day initiative to create awareness of sailing amongst the public and to attract more youths into the sport.

2010 FIJI HOBIE REGATTAS ATTRACT WORLD CHAMPIONS

The 2010 Air Pacific Oceania Championships and the Suzuki Fiji Hobie Challenge hobie sailing regattas hosted by the Fiji Hobie Class Racing Association (“Fleet 252”) began with a culture-filled welcome function on Friday 30^th July at The Pearl South Pacific Resort in Pacific Harbour, when Arts Council dance group, Rako, took to the floor with Polynesian singing and exotic tamure dancing.
